How Does It Work?
Sculptra injections contain poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is known to boost collagen production and produce long-lasting results. This helps to revitalize the volume and inner structure of your skin.
As collagen strands rebuild, they add volume to the face and smooth away wrinkles. There’s no pre-testing required for this treatment, although you will be required to stop taking certain NSAIDs a few days prior to treatment, since these can lead to complications.
The Treatment Process
The sites to be injected will first be mapped and then cleansed. A local anesthetic is also applied to avoid any discomfort. Tiny injections are then administered.

You may experience some swelling and redness in the areas following treatment, but these are temporary and will fade soon. Use an ice pack on the areas for a few minutes within the first 24 hours, and avoid tanning beds or excess exposure to sunlight until the redness subsides.
